Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2024 Kia Telluride- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Curt 4-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2024 Kia Telluride. If you install a hitch on your Telluride, it might be a good idea to pick up some trailer wiring harness. Obviously if you plan on towing a trailer, but it is one of those things, it's nice to have. That way if you do need to pull a trailer, you'll have this ready to go and that's gonna give you the light signals for your running lights, your turn signals and brake lights to the trailer and that's gonna keep you safe and legal. Now this one in particular is actually a pretty new kit. For a while the Kia Tellurides had a CAN bus system and it required using a universal splicing. more

Hey, guys. It's Jake here with Etrailer. Today we have a 2020 Kia Telluride, and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the CURT seven-pole wiring harness. Adding the seven-pole wiring harness to the back of your Telluride is gonna allow you to pull trailers, not only just standard trailers, but also trailers with brakes. That is the point of a seven-pole. In addition to your four normal functions, which are gonna be strictly based off your taillights, your stop, your left and right turn and your running light signal, you're going to get your auxiliary battery signal, which is a charge line, essentially, from your vehicle to your trailer battery. more

There's really no clear winner, so to speak, okay They're both really nice kits and one isn't much better than the other, so you really can't go wrong with either one. more

Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2022 Kia Telluride CU94FR- Video
Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Curt T-Connector Trailer Wiring Harness here on a 2022 Kia Telluride. So this particular kit here is gonna come with what's known as a 4-Way trailer connector also referred to as a 4-Pole. Now this is the most basic type of trailer connector and more than likely the one you're gonna be using with your Telluride. There is another common one, and that's going to be a 7-Way. Now this is for larger trailers with electric brakes, and if you have one of those, you can still use this harness but you will need an adapter which we carry here at etrailer. So a trailer wiring harness is gonna be one of the required parts we need to tow a trailer with our Telluride. more

Now trailer wiring is gonna be a necessity if you ever plan on pulling a trailer. And the reason being is that's gonna send your tail light signals to the trailer, letting people know when you are breaking or making a turn. So that's gonna keep you safe and legal. Now this is a very easy installation, that uses the factory trailer tow package plugs, so it's gonna be plug and play. more

Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2020 Kia Telluride- Video
Hi there Telluriders, today in our 2020 Kia Telluride, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Tekonsha's T-One four-pole flat trailer connector vehicle wiring harness. This four-pole wiring harness is going to provide you with all the necessary lighting that you'll need to keep you DOT compliant in all states. This includes your left turn signal, right turn signal, tail lamps, and brake lamps. One of the things that I like about this harness is that it has a module that's included in it, and it plugs directly into your vehicle's factory tow package connector. The module's is going to monitor all of the outputs on your four pole flat connector, and if it detects any faults, it's going to shut down that circuit. This is nice because if you do have any faults on your trailer, it's not going to cause any damage to any of the wiring on your vehicle.We'll begin our installation underneath the vehicle. more
